Westmead Children’s Hospital Radiothon Appeal 2017
About Sydney's WCH's
RRT will have the privilege of supporting this event on Friday the 17th of November with catering and refreshments as they have done previous years.
The Children’s Hospital at Westmead is the largest paediatric centre in NSW specialising in treating seriously ill children.
Founded in 1880, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead is a public hospital, with 4,467 staff across 150 departments looking after more than 80,000 sick children and their families each year. This includes around 32,000 inpatient admissions, 57,000 emergency department presentations and more than 886,000 outpatient visits.
The Radiothon Appeal 2017
The Radiothon Appeal, broadcasted on air with Smooth FM, will raise funds to buy lifesaving equipment, conduct research into childhood disease, and deliver vital services to patients and families at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Here’s how it works;
- For 24 hours only, every donation will be matched
- From 6pm Thursday 16 November to 6pm Friday 17 November
- Every gift counts, every minute counts
The Hospital will be buzzing with entertainment for patients and families. Donors will drop in to present cheques and 7 News will capture all the fun in live crosses throughout the day.
WCH volunteers will be in the Hospital to take your phone donations across the day or you can donate online over the 24 hours.
Generous supporters have agreed to dollar match your donations, so this year every gift will have an even bigger impact. To find out more details follow WCH on:
